New Classes Are Happening All The Time

I am thrilled to say that I am a busy yoga teacher. I have been given 3 new classes at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga and I also have some new private classes as well. Like I said, I am a busy yoga teacher so I guess I should tell you about my new classes. :)

I am teaching the Early Bird yoga on Thursdays at 7:30 AM and I am teaching a Hot Yoga on Thursdays at 8:45 AM both at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga. The Early Bird yoga is a level one gentle class that is one hour long. It's a great way to start the day and it is only $10. This class would be appropriate for any level student as we stretch deeply, strengthen and lengthen our muscles. We will also focus the mind on feeling the body as it lets go all the while staying aware of the breath. Even the most experienced yogis in the world would enjoy this class. As a matter of fact they probably do start their days with a class just like this one.:)

At 8:45 AM the heaters go on and I teach a 90 minute challenging yet healing hot yoga class that will leave you feeling empowered to live in the moment with love in your heart. We will enjoy some challenging postures with modifications offered for all level students. We practice pranayama (breath exercise), asana (yoga poses) and end class with a guided relaxation. We practice in the heat to allow the body to open and detox itself thru movement, breath and sweat. It's really an awesome class.

I'm also teaching a weekly Yin Yoga class with my dear friend and fellow teacher, Ruth Sanders on Sundays at 2:00 PM at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga. Yin is slow mindful practice where postures are held for a longer period of time. Ruth and I teach together so that one of us is always with the students offering hands on adjustments in every posture. This practice allows the student to really let go into postures with our eye constantly on alignment and safety. We end this class with aromatherapy for the students senses and guided meditation. You feel drunk when you leave this class. :)
