Announcing a New Class

I am happy to announce that I will be teaching a new gentle yoga class at the Yoga Source starting Tuesday, January 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM. I am looking forward to teaching this new class in the beautiful new room upstairs from the Hatha and Kundalini rooms. I hope to see you there. :)

Another Accolade for Claudia

I was the Featured Teacher at the Yoga Source in November 2012. I am very blessed to be one of many wonderful teachers at The Yoga Source on Wiles Rd in Coral Springs. Namaste!

After losing almost 100 pounds, Claudia came to yoga thinking that it would be a good addition to her fitness program. What she found completely changed her life. After being a yoga student for over 13 years Claudia decided to follow her passion and become a yoga teacher. She completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training with Juliana Trejo and became certified by The Yoga Alliance.

Claudia teaches Gentle Yoga in Coral Springs on Thursdays at 4:30 PM and Sundays at 9:00 AM.

The Journey

One day you finally knew

though the voices around you

Sunday class at 11:00 on hold through the summer

Due to my upcoming summer schedule I am putting my Sunday morning 11:00 yoga class at my home studio on hold until further notice. Anyone who was planning to attend this class is welcome to come to the Tuesday evening 6:30 class which will continue throughout the summer. I also teach classes at The Yoga Source on Thursday afternoons at 4:30 and Sunday mornings at 9:00 and you are welcome to attend either one of these classes as well.

If this class availability does not fit into your schedule and you would like to schedule a private session please go to the contact me page and reach me by either calling my cell phone or emailing me.

TPC Eagle Trace New Evening Class

I have added a new class to my schedule at TPC Eagle Trace. I am now teaching a Monday evening class which starts at 6:30. I've gotten several requests for an evening class from my existing Eagle Trace students as well as residents who work or are otherwise busy during the daytime hours. I am happy to teach this evening class.

The new class started last Monday with one of my students being the husband of one of my yoginis. He really was able to let go and enjoy the deep stretching and breath work that we did. He sent his wife to class with the message that he will see me next Monday night. I'll be looking forward to it.

As Featured In Globe Magazine

My weight loss story is being featured in Globe Magazine! Wow! There I am with my weight loss guru Richard Simmons again. I was featured on QVC and  his website as a success story a few years ago. I also made an appearance for him in the "Meet the Pros" section of his Slimmons retreat back in 2006. It's pretty great to see all this again. I knew that my weight loss would lead to something else but I never thought that I would become a yoga teacher or be featured in a national magazine. I wonder what the universe has in store for me now. :)

Happy New Year 2012

Hi Everybody,

I want to wish all of my readers a peaceful and joyous new year.

I look forward to teaching classes at my home studio in the upcoming new year. These classes will begin on Tuesday, January 3 at 6:30pm and Sunday, January 8 at 11:00am and will continue on Tuesdays and Sundays until further notice. These classes are Hatha level one and are appropriate for beginners or first time students

Private sessions at my home studio will begin on Tuesday, January 3 and I will be keeping the same schedule unless any of my private students request a change.

Hatha level one classes at Eagle Trace will be held on Wednesdays at 10:00am and Fridays at 11:00am beginning on Wednesday, January 4. If you are not a resident but are interested in attending these classes please contact me on the phone number or email listed below.

I will also be teaching at the Yoga Source on Wiles Road in Coral Springs beginning on Thursday, January 5 at 4:30pm and Sunday, January 8 at 9:00am. Thursday's class is a Hatha level 1 and Sunday's class is Gentle Yoga.
