New Class Announcement!!!

I will be teaching gentle flow yoga at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga every other Saturday morning  at 9:00 starting this week. Yoga 4 Life is located at 9739 West Sample Rd, Coral Springs, Fl.  I am very excited to be alternating with Craig who is another one of the amazing teachers at the studio. Craig teaches gentle flow and also brings a little yin yoga into the class. I will be assisting the students with a lot of hands on adjustments and some Vedic Thai Massage assistance that I learned during the training that I took with Mukti Michael Buck. I hope you will all find time to take advantage of this new class. We look forward to seeing you on the mat.

New Classes Are Happening All The Time

I am thrilled to say that I am a busy yoga teacher. I have been given 3 new classes at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga and I also have some new private classes as well. Like I said, I am a busy yoga teacher so I guess I should tell you about my new classes. :)

I am teaching the Early Bird yoga on Thursdays at 7:30 AM and I am teaching a Hot Yoga on Thursdays at 8:45 AM both at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga. The Early Bird yoga is a level one gentle class that is one hour long. It's a great way to start the day and it is only $10. This class would be appropriate for any level student as we stretch deeply, strengthen and lengthen our muscles. We will also focus the mind on feeling the body as it lets go all the while staying aware of the breath. Even the most experienced yogis in the world would enjoy this class. As a matter of fact they probably do start their days with a class just like this one.:)

At 8:45 AM the heaters go on and I teach a 90 minute challenging yet healing hot yoga class that will leave you feeling empowered to live in the moment with love in your heart. We will enjoy some challenging postures with modifications offered for all level students. We practice pranayama (breath exercise), asana (yoga poses) and end class with a guided relaxation. We practice in the heat to allow the body to open and detox itself thru movement, breath and sweat. It's really an awesome class.

I'm also teaching a weekly Yin Yoga class with my dear friend and fellow teacher, Ruth Sanders on Sundays at 2:00 PM at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga. Yin is slow mindful practice where postures are held for a longer period of time. Ruth and I teach together so that one of us is always with the students offering hands on adjustments in every posture. This practice allows the student to really let go into postures with our eye constantly on alignment and safety. We end this class with aromatherapy for the students senses and guided meditation. You feel drunk when you leave this class. :)

Teaching new heated and non-heated classes.

I have started teaching a few new classes at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga and I wanted to tell you about them. I am teaching a beginner warm yoga class on Wednesday Mornings at 7:30. If you have always wanted to try yoga in a heated room but never have then this class is for you. The room is a little warmer than room temperature and we do some of the postures that are done in a traditional hot yoga class along with a few gentle yoga postures. Doing yoga in a heated room allows the student to detox the body through sweat and the heat opens the body and allows you to maybe go a little further in your postures than you can in an air conditioned room.

I am also teaching a non-heated one hour gentle class on Thursday mornings at 7:30. This class is geared to the student that wants to start the day with a deep gentle stretch. The next class on Thursday is a hot flow and this class is for people who want to flow their yoga practice in a hot room. This class is a level 1/2 but come and try it . You may be like me and end up loving hot yoga. Namaste :)

Another Proud Announcment From Claudia

I am proud to announce that I have received my E-RYT certification from the Yoga Alliance. This means that I am now considered to be an experienced registered yoga teacher by the largest and most prestigious yoga organization in the United States and Canada. It took a lot of work and study but it was totally worth it. I look forward to teaching with this new classification attached to my name. :)
  

Another New Class Starting April 1!!!!

I am thrilled to announce that starting on April 1 I will be teaching a new Gentle/Hatha Yoga class at Yoga 4 Life/I Love Hot Yoga.This will be an early morning class for anyone who wants to start their day on the mat. This class will be perfect for beginners and experienced yogis alike. We will begin our practice at 7:30 AM in  a non-heated room(not hot yoga).  The class will be an hour long and it will only cost $10. I am looking forward to starting my day with you in a gentle yet challenging way. See you in class. Namaste!!!
