I'm in Prime Magazine!!

Hi Everyone!

Guess who was in the February edition of the Sun-Sentinel newspaper Prime magazine. It was such an amazing experience. I was approached by writer Carol  Brzozowsky who wanted to do a story on me and my teacher/beloved friend Juliana Trejo for Prime Magazine. Prime is a very glossy issue of City and Shore the fine life at 50 in South Florida. Tim Allen was going to be on the cover this month.

Carol and I did a fun phone interview to give her some additional information about different classes that I teach so she could write about them but Carol is such an amazing person and easy to talk to that we ended up covering many different aspects of yoga and other things as well.  She was especially interested in the Chair Yoga classes that I've been teaching at Yoga 4 Life East on Sundays at 1:00. 

Here is the front page of February's Prime Magazine. I'm on page 46 and 48. So cool!!

Then the fun really started. I was called in for a photo shoot at Yoga 4 Life with my teacher and dear friend Juliana Trejo. We took hundreds of pic most of which I haven't seen. I do have just a couple of pictures that were taken during the shoot. 

This picture is of us setting up for a shot and being photographed by Candace West. This was the first time I had ever done a real photo shoot and I was a little nervous. 

In this shot we are being taught by Juliana who had us doing very powerful warrior 2 poses. That's me in the front. 💪🙏

Join me a week from Saturday at Yoga Source for Chat on the Mat at 12:30. What is Chat on the Mat you ask? It's a chance to hang out with other yogis, meet new people and make new friends. I am so looking forward to this fun event.😁

Chat on the Mat

I had the idea for this workshop when I was talking to some of my friends/students at the Yoga Source. We were saying that we wanted to find a safe space to share our views and life challenges with like minded people. That was when it hit me. Yoga Source is a special yoga studio and would be the perfect place for this workshop. 

We will spend some time learning about each other and then discuss different topics that challenge us in our lives, We will also enjoy a yummy gentle yoga practice. All level students from beginner to experienced are welcome to join us.


Please know that if you are not the talking kind of person that's OK too. Please feel free to came and listen. Maybe you will make a friend. 😀💖🙏

New Chair Yoga Class Starting July 23

I am looking forward to teaching chair yoga at the beautiful Yoga 4 Life East studio in Pompano Beach starting Sunday July 23. This class is perfect for students with limited mobility, injuries, general pain or discomfort or students who struggle getting up and down in a mat class. Almost all traditional postures can be modified to be done safely either sitting in the chair or using the chair for balance or as a prop. Come and receive all the benefits yoga has to offer.
