Chat on the Mat
I had the idea for this workshop when I was talking to some of my friends/students at the Yoga Source. We were saying that we wanted to find a safe space to share our views and life challenges with like minded people. That was when it hit me. Yoga Source is a special yoga studio and would be the perfect place for this workshop.
We will spend some time learning about each other and then discuss different topics that challenge us in our lives, We will also enjoy a yummy gentle yoga practice. All level students from beginner to experienced are welcome to join us.
Please know that if you are not the talking kind of person that's OK too. Please feel free to came and listen. Maybe you will make a friend. 😀💖🙏

New Chair Yoga Class Starting July 23
I am looking forward to teaching chair yoga at the beautiful Yoga 4 Life East studio in Pompano Beach starting Sunday July 23. This class is perfect for students with limited mobility, injuries, general pain or discomfort or students who struggle getting up and down in a mat class. Almost all traditional postures can be modified to be done safely either sitting in the chair or using the chair for balance or as a prop. Come and receive all the benefits yoga has to offer. The Teacher Never Stops Being The Student
I spent last weekend at an amazing chair yoga workshop given by Ruth Sanders and Shonita Castillo. We spent hours putting together really wonderful classes using chairs and talking about the ins and out of teaching to the part of the population who are might have limited mobility or injuries. I am now Yoga Alliance certified in chair yoga and I look forward to putting my new knowledge to work.
